5. A sharp reduction in new home construction will also help control the overall inventory situation.

Add all of these factors together and they point to stabilization in the market. Often, the consumer doesn't realize that the market has turned around until they see the prices coming up and then it is to late to negotiate an excellent price. The first quarter from all appearances seems to be an excellent time to purchase.
